Marlborough Multicultural Centre (MMC) is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation dedicated to supporting migrants and newcomers in the Marlborough region. Since 2007, MMC has provided advocacy, education, and social support, working collaboratively to improve the settlement process and foster a welcoming and inclusive community. Our mission is to ensure that migrants, former refugees, and long-time Marlborough residents can celebrate diversity while feeling empowered, connected, and valued. 

As part of our refreshed strategic direction, MMC is committed to building sustainable and innovative funding solutions by: 

1. Establishing a stable and diverse funding programme with strong financial management to ensure long-term viability. 

2. Exploring creative and innovative revenue streams to enhance financial resilience. 

To support this vision, MMC is seeking Expressions of Interest EOI) from organisations interested in partnering with us to develop a social enterprise initiative. Our goal is to create a sustainable venture that benefits our diverse communities by providing meaningful employment, skills development, and social connection. 

We invite organisations with expertise in social enterprise development, business strategy, and community engagement to help us design and implement a model that aligns with our mission. 

EOI Submission Requirements 

Interested organisations should outline: 

• Their experience in developing and supporting social enterprises. 

• The approach they will take to assess, plan, and implement a suitable model. 

• Potential costs to consider, including consultancy fees, operational expenses, and funding strategies. 

• Proposed timelines for key stages, from initial assessment to implementation.
